Ricardo Rios, 38, of Reading and Terry Farmer, 48, of Trenton, N.J., were arrested in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street Oct. 13 after allegedly attempting to cash two forged checks totaling $4,881.67. Charges of forgery and bad checks were filed.
Jessica Leigh Miles, 22, of Allentown, was arrested in the 400 block of Chestnut Street Oct. 2 after she allegedly was seen speeding in the area. Charges of driving under the influence, speeding and careless driving were filed.
Sara N. Matteson, 28, of Emmaus, was arrested in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Street after she allegedly was involved in an accident Oct. 19. Charges were filed.
Mark M. Charles, 40, of Emmaus, was cited for alleged public drunkenness in the 900 block of Eagle Drive Oct. 27. A citation was filed.
Reported by a resident in the 900 block of Macungie Avenue Oct. 16, unknown actors entered the unlocked home and removed jewelry.
Reported in the 700 block of Chestnut Street Oct. 14, a cellphone valued at $90 was taken.

Reported Oct. 19 in the unit block of Keystone Avenue, an actor entered an unlocked vehicle and removed $2 in change.
Reported Oct. 19 in the 200 block of North Second Street, an actor entered a vehicle and removed $3 in cash.
Reported Oct. 20 in the 100 block of Pine Street, the rear window of a vehicle was shattered by a pellet, resulting in about $300 damage.
Reported Oct. 22 in the 100 block of East Main Street, the rear windows of two vehicles were smashed, resulting in about $300 damage.

Reported by a resident in the 1000 block of North 7th Street, an actor opened a credit card account in the resident’s name.
The Klines Lane railroad crossing will be shut down beginning Nov. 14 through 18 for track and crossing repairs. Crews will then move to South Second Street at a time to be determined.
