Barkswalk 2016 at the Artswalk in Allentown, 701 Hamilton St., noon to 3 p.m. Free community event to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - pets fighting blood cancer. Event includes raffle gift baskets, demonstration by area K-9 officers, DJ and photo booth, face painting, adopt a pet from local shelters and more. Rain date is Nov. 19.

Bill and Carol Yale will receive the “Faith In Action Award” for their years of service to ShareCare. The auction will feature items for bid as well as appetizers and desserts.

Old Zionsville UCC will host a Thanksgiving service 7 p.m. The service will feature the singing group Sing For America and includes all six churches in the ministerium. The Rev. Bob Klersy will be preach a short homily.

Nov. 28

GFWC Woman’s Club of Emmaus meeting 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus. The program will be “Celebrate with Music with Mike Evans.”

Nov. 29

The Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society will hold its quarterly meeting 7 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township municipal building, Old Zionsville. The program will be presented by Leslie May, a volunteer at the Mercer Museum in Doylestown and a fellow of the American Folk Art Museum in NYC. She has collected antique Christmas ornaments for over 30 years and is a Christmas historian and will speak about Vitorian Christmas decorations and traditions. Refreshments will be served after the program and all are welcome.

Dec. 4

Elvis impersonator Jeff Krick will perform a Christmas show 3 p.m. at Emmaus Moravian Church, 146 Main St., Emmaus. There is a cost for tickets.
