St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will host a walk-in basket social from 5-8 p.m. Nov. 4 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 5.

The drawings start at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

There will be baskets for food lovers, sports fans, holidays, special occasions, babies, kids, gift certificates and more.

Plenty of food, including a bake sale, will be available for purchase to eat-in or take-out.

The Keenagers seniors group will meet 1 p.m. Nov. 15 in the church social hall.

The Auxiliary of Northern Valley EMS, NOVA, will have a soup, sandwich and baked goods sale Election Day, Nov. 8.

The next fundraiser is coming just in time to help with your Thanksgiving dinner.

The group will be preparing homemade potato stuffing, bacon dressing and nut rolls.

Upper Lehigh Lions Club will be celebrating Charter Night on Nov. 9. The group was founded in 1947.

This year the Upper Lehigh Lions donated $3,500 to the Center for Vision Loss.

President Karlene Laub reports, “It is worth every bit of the hard work we do for this money. Countless lives are improved with this money.”

Boy Scout Troop 144 is hosting an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. on Nov. 12 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station.

Menu includes pasta with assorted sauces, salad, bread, homemade dessert and beverages.

Tickets will be sold at the door. Eat-in or take-out available.
