“The Greatest Generation,” presented by Embassy Bank and Phoebe Ministries, will take place 6:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at SteelStacks. 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.
There will be a presentation of the colors by the Steel Battalion ROTC unit and veterans will be honored.
Following a reception in the Creativity Commons, there will be a presentation and a screening of the PBS documentary “The Ghost Army” at 7 p.m.
Guest speakers are Joseph Christ, who worked in German prisoner of war camps in the U.S., and Rudolph Langston, a Native American who served overseas in Allied Occupied area.
The moderator is retired U.S. Marine Corps Col. Frank Gunter, head of Lehigh University’s Veterans Association.
Donations will be collected for The Ghost Army Legacy Project which honors and preserves the legacy of the infantry unit.
