Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, is hosting Trunk or Treat 2-6 p.m. Oct. 29 in the main parking lot.

Registering your trunk or truck for a chance to win a prize.

Visitors will be asked to vote for their favorite trunk or truck.

There will also be a campfire with some tasty treats, indoor snacks, refreshments and crafts.

The food pantry is open 9-11 a.m. the first Saturday of each month and 4-6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month.

Senior citizens are served 10 a.m. to noon the prior Wednesday.

The food pantry serving Heidelberg, Lowhill, Lynn and Weisenberg townships accepts donations 9-11 a.m. the last Saturday and the third Tuesday of the month and by appointment.

Donations may also be dropped off at both New Tripoli Banks and ESSA Bank.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, is hosting Boo at the Zoo, sponsored by Lehigh Carbon Community College, New Tripoli Bank and Lehigh Valley Style, Oct. 29 and 30.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will have a spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. Nov. 5.

Menu includes spaghetti with homemade meatballs, salad, Italian and garlic bread, beverages and homemade desserts.

Walk-ins are welcome. There will be a basket raffle.

Homemade cherry crumb pies and apple dumplings will be available for purchase.
