Dent and Scavello endorse Rafferty for attorney general

The Rafferty for Attorney General campaign held a campaign rally Oct. 4 with Congressman Charlie Dent, R-15th, state Sen. Mario Scavello, R-40th, state Reps. Julie Harhart, R-183rd, and Barry Jozwiak, R-5th, and other local officials.

“John Rafferty is the only candidate in this race with the experience, qualifications and agenda to restore integrity and credibility to the Office of Attorney General,” Dent said.

“Pennsylvanians don’t need another inexperienced attorney general learning on the job or someone who is simply running for AG because they think it helps them set up a run for governor or U.S Senate.”

“Pennsylvanians can trust John Rafferty to take politics out of the Office of Attorney General and make the right decisions for the right reasons and that’s why I am enthusiastically supporting his campaign.”

State Sen. Mario Scavello also commented.

“John Rafferty is running for attorney general because he knows an elected official’s No. 1 priority is to ensure the public safety of our constituents,” Scavello said.

“That is one of the many reasons I am proud to endorse John Rafferty for this critically important office.

“In the State Senate, John Rafferty has been a champion for the law enforcement community and he is exactly who we want to serve as our next attorney general.

“It is an honor to have the support of these honorable and dedicated public servants. Everyday they are devoting their time to ensuring the safety of our public,” said John Rafferty, a Republican. “As our next attorney general, I am excited to join them by working alongside them to address the major issues facing our commonwealth.

“From fighting the heroin epidemic to identity theft to child predators, I want to work together with the law enforcement at all levels to make our state a safer place to live, work and raise our families.”
