The Colonial League held soccer championship games on Thursday.

Northwestern’s boys soccer team defended it’s title with a 2-1 win over Salisbury Thursday’s title game at Northern Lehigh.

Noah Meyers scored the game-winner for Northwestern on an assist from Kenny Gawelko.

Salisbury opened the scoring when Patrick Adams scored in the first half with an assist from Ethan Heydt. The Tigers tied the game in the second half on a goal by Gawelko, assisted by Andrew Goodolf. Both the Tigers and Falcons will advance to next week’s district tournaments as top seeds with Northwestern in Class 3A and Salisbury in Class 2A.

The Southern Lehigh girls soccer team won the league championship with a 2-0 win over Salisbury.

The Spartans got goals from Kristen Cocozza and Emily Jordan in the game.
