Union UCC and Lutheran to have Trunk-or-Treat for kiddies
Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, and Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, invite children to a joint Trunk-or-Treat 3-5 p.m. Oct. 22.
Youngsters may wear costumes and pick up treats at decorated vehicles in each parking lot.
Both churches will have food for the hungry trunk-or-treaters.
Children can vote for the best decorated and most creative vehicles.
This safe family trick-or-treat will be held rain or shine. People can take a short walk through the cemetery from one church to the other.
Union UCC will accept canned goods for the local food bank. Receive a special treat for your contribution.

Upper Lehigh Lions Club is hosting a basket social Oct. 25 at the Schnecksville Fire Company.
Doors open 5:30 p.m., followed by the drawing at 7 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased at the door. Food and beverages will be for sale.
Bring a non-perishable food item and receive a free raffle ticket.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, announces its annual fall basket party will take place 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 28 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 29.
The event is a fundraiser for youth programs.
Refreshments including barbecues, soup and baked goods will be available for purchase.
Bring a bag of items for the food bank and receive some extra tickets.
Last year, the event featured more than 200 baskets.
