It’s the best time of the year. A time to be joyful and have fun with hayrides, pumpkin patches and Halloween. It’s also a time to be grateful for the harvest and all the blessings we’ve received this year.

Ebenezer Church, New Tripoli, is taking part in Northwestern’s Trick or Treat Night between 6-8 p.m. Oct. 29.

All little ghosties and ghoulies are invited to stop by the church for yummy treats and drinks.

Warm up with hot cocoa, grab some yummy treats, and say hello.

The church is also hosting a Thanksgiving Priceless Bake Sale 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 20. Stop in and make a donation for some of the most delicious desserts in New Tripoli. All proceeds benefit the church youth program.

Lynnport Fire Company, Lynnport, will host a Northwestern Lehigh Alumni Association basket bingo on Oct. 30. Doors open 1 p.m. Bingo starts 2 p.m.

Come in costume and bring a canned good for the Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry. There are extra prizes, hostess raffles, Chinese auction, Longaberger baskets, goodies in every basket and door prizes.

Jacob’s Church, New Tripoli, will host its annual oyster supper on Nov. 5. Serving is from 4-7 p.m.

Menu includes fried oysters, oyster stew, oyster pie and fresh cut fries. Fried shrimp platters will be available. There will also be desserts including lemon strip and coconut pies.
