Ziegels Union Church invites the community to sponsor a wreath in memory of a veteran.

As part of “Wreaths Across America,” wreaths will be placed on the graves of veterans in the cemetery at Ziegels during a ceremony noon Dec. 17.

Weisenberg Township Volunteer Fire Department, 2500 Golden Key Road is having a meat pie sale fundraiser.

Each pie, made by Mr. Pastie, is 12 ounces and comes in the following varieties: beef, chicken, Italian sausage, veggie melt, spinach melt or ham.

Orders are due by Oct. 18 with pickup between 4:30-6 p.m. Nov. 3.

There will be basket bingo, hosted by the Northwestern Lehigh Alumni Association, at the Lynnport Fire Company, Behler Street, Oct. 30.

Doors open 1 p.m. with bingo starting at 2 p.m.

Come in costume and bring a canned good for Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry.

There will be a Chinese auction, door prizes, Longaberger baskets, hostess raffles and more.
