High school: 2016 Powder Puff team forming now
Any Catasauqua High School senior interested in participating in the annual Powder Puff football game against the Northampton Koncrete Kids Nov. 13 should sign up in Ms. Schmidt’s room A211. The cost of the jersey is $20 and payment is due to Ms. Schmidt no later than Oct. 14.

There will be a Homecoming game tailgate party 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Alumni Field. On the menu are hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, soda and water. Admission to the event is $2. If you are planning to attend, sign up in the high school guidance office.

Anyone who is interested in joining the German Club should bring their $3 membership dues to Frau Haney in room B221 as soon as possible. You will not be allowed to vote for officers or run for an office if you have not paid your dues by Oct. 21.

The first meeting of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes was held Oct. 6 in Mr. Bastidas’ room at the high school. This group welcomes all former, current and future athletes to fellowship with one another. Learn how to use your faith in God and talent to improve your community. Plan to attend the next meeting and get involved. Watch for more information.

The Catasauqua High School Drama Club is excited to announce their fall performances of “Fantasy and Farce,” two one-act plays. Both shows are produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Services Inc., Denver, Colo.
Act One: “The Mad Tea Party,” by Brian D. Taylor
Act Two: “Three Doors to Death,” by Keith Jackson
There will be two performances, each featuring both plays, 7 p.m. Oct. 22 and 2 p.m. Oct. 23, both at the CHS auditorium located at 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.
All seating is general admission. The ticket cost is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students.
For advanced tickets, send a self-addressed stamped envelope and payment to CHS, 2500 W. Bullhead Road, Northampton, 18067. Checks should be made payable to Catasauqua Drama Club.
Box office hours will be 4-6 p.m. Mondays and 3-5 p.m. Thursdays. The box office will be open one hour prior to show time as well.
