Phillip Wagner, 38, of Breinigsville, was cited for disorderly conduct after he allegedly was involved in a dispute with two women at Macungie Memorial Park, 50 N. Poplar St., Aug. 19. According to police, the three people were involved in a dispute concerning use of space under a canopy for shade when Wagner allegedly dipped his shirt into water and wrung out the shirt over the heads and belongings of the women, causing damage to their cellphones.
A 15-year-old male was charged with threatening a bystander who intervened between the teen and his 15-year-old girlfriend during a dispute Aug. 22 at Race and Willow streets. According to police, officers responded to the area after reports were made of a physical disturbance between the teens. When a 38-year-old male bystander intervened, the younger male threatened the man with “bodily harm via a knife,” according to police. The teen was charged and released to a parent.
Michael Ambrose Green, 29, of Palmerton, was charged with driving under the influence after an alleged traffic stop in the 300 block of East Main Street Sept. 9. According to police, Green was taken to Central Processing for a blood test. Charges were filed.
Reported by a resident in the 20 block of West Main Street, a bicycle was removed overnight Oct. 1. The bicycle was described as two-tone copper and orange with a loose seat and 20-inch wheels with the words “Thruster” and “Rampage” on the handlebars and frame. The bicycle is valued at about $100. Reported to police at police headquarters, five gallons of gas stolen from a parked vehicle between January and Sept. 29 while the vehicle was parked to the rear of a residence in the 20 block of East Main Street.
