Opioid and heroin epidemic seminar 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Church, 1431 Lehigh Parkway East, Allentown. The presenters will be members of Heroin Opioid Prevention and Education, the Salisbury Police Department, Teen Challenge and a parent who lost a child to drugs. Tobacco and alcohol abuse will also be addressed. A question and answer session with all the speakers will follow the presentation. There is no cost for this community event. The Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society will sponsor a bus tour to see eight homes in the central section of the Lehigh County Log Cabin Trail.
