The Student Government Association of Salisbury High School and advisor Mike Anderson are putting the final touches on the Homecoming Parade scheduled 5:30 p.m. Oct. 7 weather permitting.
Anderson said this will be the second homecoming parade for the school, following the success of last year’s event.
The Salisbury Youth Association, Eastern and Western Salisbury fire departments, Salisbury police, Key Club, No Place for Hate, classic cars arranged by Dan Mohry, SMS student council, Celtic United Pipes and Drums, from Stroudsburg, Salisbury middle and high school bands, twirlers and school board members are all scheduled to participate.
The parade will begin at Harry S Truman Elementary School, travel to Salisbury Road, go to Tweed and end on Montgomery Street at the high school.
