Church seeks apple bake goods for Allentown Soup Kitchen
Spread the word! Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, invites the public to its first Blue Mountain Steel Classic Shoot from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 7, 8 and 9.
The match will consist of five stages of 25-35 knock-down steel targets per stage.

Joyful giving! Donations of any kind of baked goods made with apples are being sought after for the Allentown Soup Kitchen and may be dropped off 6-7 p.m. Oct. 11 in Heidelberg Church’s Fellowship Hall.
According to Heidelberg Church’s soup kitchen Assistant Coordinator Linda Hausamann, 165 hot meals were served recently to the hungry and homeless at the soup kitchen.
The meal consisted of chicken, mashed potatoes, tossed salad, rolls, watermelon, ice cream and desserts.
Special thanks to the volunteers of the day: Pastor Karen Yonney, Sheri Hausman, Charlene Bergstresser, Eleanor and Ron Klevenhagen, Robin Koch, Doris and Richard Koenig and Shirley Boger.

Fun and faith! Heidelberg Church’s Women of Faith group welcomes women of all ages to come out and join them at their next meeting 6 p.m. Oct. 24 in fellowship hall.
This fun and active group of girls will begin making Christmas crafts for nursing homes in the area.
