STATE POLICE
Reported by Hollenbach Construction, of Boyertown, at a work site at The Church of the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8667 Windom Drive, Lower Milford Township, unknown actors forced entry into a construction trailer and removed a Stihl saw and multiple construction tools between 10 a.m. Sept. 2 and 7 a.m. Sept. 6.
Samantha Michele Dier, 25, of Allentown, was charged with indecent exposure, public intoxication and disorderly conduct after an alleged indecent incident in the Wawa store parking lot, 3321 Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 8:47 p.m. Sept. 2. Police said Dier became belligerent with officers and shouted profanities in the parking lot. Dier allegedly presented a credit card when asked for her identification. Charges were filed.
Jordan Dipietro, 19, of Macungie, was accused of receiving stolen property after police found him allegedly riding a bicycle south in the northbound lane on Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 3:01 a.m. Aug. 18. According to police, Dipietro was riding without lighting equipment on the bicycle. Further investigation found Dipietro allegedly was wearing a backpack containing items taken from numerous vehicles parked along Wedge Lane and Stonecroft Lane, Lower Macungie Township. Charges were filed.
Dezirae Cassandra Bartholomew, 28, of Zionsville, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after the car she was in was involved in a single car accident along Churchview Road, Upper Milford Township, 12:20 a.m. Aug. 8. According to police, a vehicle was northbound when it went off the right shoulder of the road and struck a utility pole near 4423 Churchview Road. The vehicle continued north and struck a traffic sign, a utility pole and a tree where the vehicle came to a rest. Bartholomew was identified by police as the operator of the vehicle. Charges were filed.
Justin Michael Bryant, 28, of Emmaus, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Hamilton Boulevard South at Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:17 a.m. Aug. 14. Charges were filed.
Alyssa Marie Abbattiscianni, 21, of Reading, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop during a DUI checkpoint at State Route 222 South at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:30 a.m. Sept. 3. Charges were filed.
Reported in the rear parking lot of Rolling Green Place, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered several unlocked vehicles between 10 p.m. Aug. 16 and 6 a.m. Aug. 17. Nothing was taken.
Reported by a resident in the 1400 block of Laurel Lane, Lower Macungie Township, several fraudulent purchases were made on the resident’s credit card account. Police said the charges occurred several weeks prior to the resident’s call to law enforcement.
State Police at Fogelsville conducted a DUI checkpoint along State Route 222, east of Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, overnight Sept. 2. The checkpoint resulted in 212 motorists being stopped, two arrests for driving under the influence, three misdemeanor drug possession arrests, one driving under suspension citation and two careless driving citations.
