State Police Troop L Hamburg say Virginia A. Miller, 25, of Lenhartsville was driving a 2016 Jeep Compass when it struck a 2014 motorcycle XV9 950 Volt driven by Gregory A. Miller Jr., 29, of Lenhartsville 4:24 p.m. Sept. 14 on Krumsville Road and Old 22, Greenwich Township.
According to police the motorcycle was stopped at the four-way intersection waiting to make a left turn, when the Jeep approached the intersection and stopped as well.
Police allege Virginia Miller did not see the motorcycle, which was proceeding to enter the intersection in an attempt to make a left hand turn.
Virginia Miller subsequently proceeded straight into the intersection and struck the motorcycle in the rear.
Both vehicles came to a final rest partially blocking the southbound lane of Route 737.
The impact caused the bike to fall over and Gregory Miller to sustain injuries, police say.
Gregory Miller, who police say was wearing a helmet, was transported by Hamburg Emergency Medical Services to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Virginia Miller, who was wearing her seat belt, was uninjured, police say.
She was charged with a traffic violation.
