Pen Argyl-Salisbury
The Falcons swept the Knights, 5-0.
SIngles wins came from Leandra Roelker, Claudia Crouthamel and Lil Crouthamel. Picking up doubles wins for Salisbury were the teams of Vivian Rogers and Anna Bishop, along with Katie Denver and Sydney Kramer.
Thursday, Sept. 8
Salisbury-Notre Dame (GP)
The Falcons beat the Crusaders 3-2
Claudia and Lil Crouthamel pulled out singles wins, while the doubles team of Vivian Rogers and Anna Bishop earned Salisbury’s doubles win.
Wednesday, Sept. 7
Salisbury-Hamburg
The Falcons beat the Hawks, 3-2
Leandra Roelker and Claudia Crouthamel picked up singles wins, while Vivian Rogers and Anna Bishop combined to earn the win at No. 1 doubles.
CROSS COUNTRY
Salisbury-Palisades
The Falcon boys cross country team beat Catasauqua but lost to Southern Lehigh, Saucon Valley, Notre Dame (Green Pond) and Moravian Academy.
Shane Artis (24th) and Michael Sosnowski (29th) led the way for the Falcons.
The Falcon girls team went 0-6 at the meet. With just three runners, Salisbury is two short of a full team.
Brooke Rogers led the Falcons girls with a 16th-place finish out of 58 runners.
GOLF
Monday, Sept. 12
Salisbury, Saucon Valley, Southern Lehigh at Wilson
Salisbury beat Wilson but lost to Southern Lehigh and Saucon Valley.
The Falcons shot 423, led by Ryan Slutsky’s 74.
Southern Lehigh (394) edged Saucon Valley (398) by just four shots. The Spartans’ were led by Garret Cwalina with a 74.
Saucon Valley’s Thomas Coakley fired the low round of the match with a 69 at Morgan Hill Golf Course.
The rest of Salisbury’s top five included Alex Suter (81), Eric Penella (85), Ryan Misiura (92) and Mark Wilson (91).
Wednesday, Sept. 7
Notre Dame (GP)-Salisbury
The Falcons lost to the Crusaders, 413-438.
Notre Dame’s Steve Luke fired a 76 with four teammates all following at 87 or lower.
Salisbury’s Ryan Slutsky shot 78, while teammates AMark Wilson (85), Eric Penella (89), Alex Suter (92) and Ryan Misiura (94) rounded out the Falcons’ top five.
Tuesday, Sept. 6
Southern Lehigh-Salisbury
The Spartans beat the Falcons 384-425.
Souther Lehigh’s Mike Miller shot 69 in the match, held at Wedgewood.
The Falcons were led by Ryan Slutsky’s 73, followed by Alex Suter (82), Eric Penella (84), Ryan Misiura (90) and Mark Wilson (96).

Saturday, Sept. 10
Fleetwood-Salisbury
The Falcons lost to Fleetwood, 2-1.
The District 3 and Berks County team scored a goal in each half.
The Falcons got their only goal in the second half when Rylee Donaldson scored an unassisted goal. Keepers Kyra Bruns (11) and Katie Gilligan (4) combined for 15 saves during a game played in sweltering head and humidity.
Friday, Sept. 9
Salisbury-Pen Argyl
The Falcons beat the Knights 7-0.
Goal keeper Kyra Bruns made eight saves.
Names of goal scorers were not reported to the Press.
Tuesday, Sept. 6
Blue Mountain-Salisbury
The Falcons beat the Eagles, 2-1 in overtime.
Blue Mountain took a 1-0 lead in the first half. Salisbury tied the game on a scramble poked home by Erica Holben in the second half.
Five minutes into the second overtime, a Paige Nicholas’ free kick was sent to Caylin Meikrantz, who assisted on Holben’s goal. The senior threaded a sharp angled ball into the far post for the game-winning goal.
Goal keeper Kyra Bruns stopped eight shots in the game.

Friday, Sept. 9
Pen Argyl-Salisbury
The Falcons beat the Knights 9-1.
Salisbury goals were scored by Patrick Adams (2), Ethan Heydt (2), Prince Radande (2), James Hadinger, Yazid Darwasheh and Collin Fairchild. Assists went to Sebastion Buckley, Heydt, John Yurconic, Mason Grofff, Fairchild, Jon Roth and Diego Luna Rivera.
The Falcons (3-0 overall, 1-0 Colonial League) out-shot the Knights 19-3.

The Falcons lost 2-0 to the Rough Riders.
Salisbury keeper Peyton Stauffer made nine saves in the game as her team was out-shot 11-4.
Thursday, Sept. 8
Southern Lehigh-Salisbury
The Falcons were shut out by Southern Lehigh 7-0.
Falcon goal keeper stopped 17 shots in the game as the Spartans out-shot Salisbury 24-3.
Tuesday, Sept. 6
Salisbury-Palisades
The Pirates topped the Falcons, 3-0.
Goal keeper Josie DuBois made nine saves for Salisbury.
