Man arrested at Dorney

A 45-year-old man was arrested after allegedly exposing himself 4:45 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Dorney Park Wildwater Kingdom wave pool, South Whitehall Township.

According to an affidavit of probable cause obtained from District Judge Jake Hammond’s office, South Whitehall, Sgt. George Hummel said Dorney security officers responded to the cove wave pool for a man allegedly exposing himself.

Hummel states numerous witnesses reported a Hispanic male allegedly entered the wave pool in his boxer shorts with an open front.

The man was later identified as Jose Antonio Aguilar-Hernandez by his Mexican Electoral card, the affidavit states.

According to Hummel, the incident was witnessed by two children under the age of 12.

Hummel states Aguilar-Hernandez allegedly had bloodshot and glassy eyes and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and body.

According to Lehigh County criminal court records, Aguilar-Hernandez was charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and open lewdness.

He was arraigned Aug. 27 before District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.

Aguilar-Hernandez posted $7,500 bail and was released.
