Let’s eat! On Sept. 10, Heidelberg Union Church, Church and Irving roads, in the Saegersville area, is having a ham and fresh corn pie dinner in fellowship hall.

Reservations required. Limited seating times are 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

In addition to scrumptious ham and fresh corn pie, the meal includes bread, beverage and homemade desserts.

Where the girls are! Women of all ages are invited to come out and join the fun and fellowship at Heidelberg Church’s Women of Faith group meeting 6 p.m. Sept. 26 in fellowship hall.

This friendly group of girls will get together to make a lovely kitchen angel.

In addition to a friend or two, bring along a dish towel, washcloth and pot holder.

Calling all retirees! Heidelberg Association of Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will be taking a short road trip Sept. 26 to The Grothouse Lumber Company, Germansville.

This busy bunch of retirees will meet 6:15 p.m. at Heidelberg Church and travel together to take a tour of Grothouse’s prominent woodworkings.
