Sheckler Home and School is a wonderful organization to get involved in. Throughout the school year members assist in planning fun events for the students, and they organize fundraising to help benefit the school and the students.
The organization meets once a month to discuss topics and plan future activities. The first meeting of this school year will be held 7 p.m. Sept. 7 in Sheckler’s library. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
It’s a great way for parents to stay involved and help out as much as you would like throughout the year by volunteering some of your time or sharing your ideas. It’s also a great way to meet other parents and work together to benefit all the students at Sheckler .

Have you and your family been collecting those Box Tops for Education over the summer to help Sheckler turn trash into cash for our school? Box tops can be sent in with your child and given to the teacher.
These box tops can be found on many products, including General Mills cereals, Betty Crocker baking products and bakeware, and on a variety of everyday household supplies including Zip-Loc brand and a variety of frozen foods. Each one is worth 10 cents. By collecting them schoolwide, the amount adds up quickly.
All profits brought in are used to help fund special events, activities and field trips for the students throughout the school year. Keep posted for upcoming submission dates and deadlines as well as any grade-level contests that may be held with each submission.

Remember to return any dental or physical forms that may be due for your child as soon as possible.
