A 23-year-old man, of Emmaus, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the on-ramp to Interstate 78, east of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 1:53 a.m. June 26. According to police, a probable cause search of the vehicle uncovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Charges were filed.

A 21-year-old man, of Zionsville, was injured when he fell from his motorcycle and slid into a ditch in the 2000 block of Brunner Road, Upper Milford Township, Aug. 14. According to police, the motorcycle was northbound in the right lane when it struck a stick in the road causing the driver to lose control. The motorcycle toppled onto its left side. The driver slid into the grassy ditch to the right of the road and the motorcycle continued to slide, finally stopping against trees. The Zionsville man injured his left leg in the accident, police said.
