Emmaus Historical Society will sponsor an “Antique Appraisal Program & 50/50 Raffle” 4 to 8 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church parish hall, Emmaus. Certified appraisers will provide verbal appraisals for one or two items per participant. There is a cost. Food and refreshments available at a cost. Allentown AARP Chapter #5415 will meet noon at St. Timothy’s Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown. Social hour with refreshments noon; program and business meeting 1 p,m. Non-members and guests welcome. Emmaus Garden Club Garden Tour 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain date is Sept. 11. The ticket price benefits the scholarship fund. The tour will feature five gardens within a 35-minute walking distance. Luther Crest has scheduled a free public educational program on continuing care retirement communities, told by residents themselves. The resident-panel discussion will be held 10:30 a.m. at Luther Crest, 800 Hausman Road and will include lunch. Because seating is limited, people interested in attending are asked to call the senior living community at 610-398-8011.

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation and the Cancer Support Community are hosting a free wellness fair entitled “Cancer Rehabilitation: Resources and Services for Mind, Body & Spirit.” The event will be 4 to 7 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Health & Technology Center, 850 S. 5th St., Allentown. The Emmaus 1803 House A Very Merrie Halloween, a Halloween craft show and fall festival. For information, visit www.1803house.org. Proceeds from this event benefit the preservation and maintenance of the historic 1803 House, 55 S. Keystone Ave.
