SALISBURY POLICE

A resident in the 1000 block of Susquehanna reported 4:27 p.m. Aug. 4 the theft of a trailer. The resident said a couple took the trailer for a test drive and never returned. Police are investigating.

Justin Knipe, 35, of Bethlehem, was charged with fleeing and eluding, careless driving, two counts of stop signs, failure to drive on the right side of the road and suspicion of driving while under the influence following an alleged traffic stop 11:40 a.m. Aug. 5 in the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street. Knipe was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Gwendolynn Kemp, 51, of Douglasville, was charged with suspicion of driving while under the influence following an alleged crash along Cedar Crest Boulevard at Fish Hatchery Road 2:52 p.m. Aug. 10. Kemp was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A resident in the 1000 block of Public Road reported 4:07 p.m. Aug. 6 returning from vacation to find the rear window of a vehicle shattered.

Thomas Adams, 69, of Salisbury, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an alleged incident in the 1600 block of Church Road 9:16 p.m. Aug. 6.

Krizia Rivera, 26, of Salisbury, was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of children following an alleged discovery 6:03 p.m. Aug. 6. Police say the grandparents went to the home in the 1100 block of East Susquehanna Street to visit the family and found the door locked but the children were looking out the window. Police were called and ultimately broke into the home. Police said the mother had allegedly been gone for four and a half hours and left the children, ages four and two, alone. A neighbor called Rivera who returned to the home after learning police were there.

Children and youth services were called and Rivera was taken to Central Booking for processing.
