The GFWC Pennsylvania Woman’s Club of Emmaus named Catherine Ritter, of Lower Macungie Township, Girl of the Month recently.

Ritter, a graduate of Emmaus High School, is recognized by the club for her achievements in drama.

Ritter was recent president of the Emmaus High School drama department. She also was a recent member of the EHS Chorale, Acca Bella, Women’s Choir, Concert Choir and Select Choir at Emmaus High School and received a Freddy Award in 2015.

Ritter, daughter of Randall and Margaret Ritter, plans to pursue performing arts and a teaching degree.
