This workshop will help writers learn how to write their memoirs.

The Joy of Coloring class will be 3 p.m. Aug. 24. The library will provide the coloring pages and pencils.

Bring knitting supplies and join fellow knitters at the Knitting Circle 2-4 p.m. Aug. 25.

Join Ann Miller from Healthcare Benefits Solutions 1 p.m. Aug. 30 for a class on understanding Medicare.

Friends of the Parkland Library will have its 26th annual used book sale 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 19, and 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.

Bag Day will be noon-4 p.m. on Aug. 21.

Friends of the Parkland Library is having a fundraiser 4-10 p.m. Aug. 28 at Yofresh Yogurt Cafe, Tilghman Square, 4642 Broadway, Allentown.

Reservations are needed to attend the writing workshop, Joy of Coloring and Medicare discussion.

These events are free and will be at the library.
