State Police Troop M Bethlehem say a 68-year-old woman reported a set of plates and dishes and a door knob were stolen sometime between 11 p.m. May 2 and 9 a.m. the next day after forced entry was made into her home in the 4400 block of Main St., Washington Township.
Anyone with information about this burglary is asked to contact state police at 610-861-2026 and refer to incident No. PA2016-165138.
In another incident, a 87-year-old man and his 74-year-old wife, of the 6200 block of Quincy Court, Washington Township, reported a man stole a blue canvas purse with stars on it 9:05 p.m. Aug. 1 after he knocked on their door and identified himself as their neighbor, say State Police Troop M Bethlehem.
Police say after the man knocked on the door, he entered the home and took the purse which contained house and car keys, identification cards and approximately $320 in cash.
Police say the woman did not see the thief.
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a cash box containing money was stolen 1:20 a.m. on July 29 after a window was broken to enter Bear Rock Junction, 8181 Route 309, Lynn Township.
In a separate incident, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 40-year-old Allentown man reported a burglary occurred sometime between 1:05-1:12 a.m. on Aug. 2 at Northwestern Dental Care, 6505 Route 309, Lynn Township.
A rear window on the building was forced open to gain entry, say police.
