A 57-year-old man, of Allentown, faces charges of speeding after the Freightliner tractor trailer truck he was driving jackknifed and struck a barrier along Interstate 78, Salisbury Township, July 29.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville the man was driving westbound near mile marker 58.7 when the truck started to lose traction.

The driver lost control of the vehicle and the truck jackknifed and struck a barrier on the right shoulder of the road. The driver was not injured.
