Mr. and Mrs. Tim Reppert, of Whitehall, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla, to John M. Laub, son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Laub, of Coplay.

The couple graduated high school in 2008, when the bride-elect was a cheerleader for Whitehall High School, and the groom-to-be was a quarterback of the football team at Parkland High School.

They did not meet until they graduated from their respective colleges in fall 2012.

The bride-elect graduated with honors from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and the groom-to-be graduated with honors from the University of Richmond.

The couple resides in Washington, D.C., where the bride-elect is employed by TriVision Inc. as a project manager for the Department of Commerce and the groom-to-be is a financial analyst for K2M Inc., a medical device manufacturer.

The couple will wed Oct. 8, 2017, in Mount Pocono.
