We all had a great week six! Camp Cementon hosted Camp Jefferson this week because of the lack of air conditioning at the Fullerton building. With the heat the way it was this week, a lot of the kids were thankful for having air conditioning and tons of water with them.
Throughout the week, we played a ton of games that included both Jefferson campers and Cementon campers like Dodgeball, Silent Ball and so many others. All of the campers enjoyed being around their friends or older brothers or sisters this week.
The final week of swim lessons wrapped up, and those who were taking them improved so much since the first week. Many had the opportunity to move up the levels and learn how to swim. The improvement was incredible to watch as was their excitement.
On Wednesday, we took our field trip to Freefall Trampoline Park. All of the kids had a blast bouncing around for two hours! It was a workout for the counselors, but it was one of our best field trips so hard.
At the end of our week, we announced our Campers of the Week - Emma and Malakai. Congratulations to them again! They were a blast to have at camp and loved being there every day.
As week seven rolls around, we only have 10 days left of camp. This week, our field trip is to the Wildlands Conservancy. So many of the campers are looking forward to the experience of being outside and exploring nature that’s around them.
