Kaye Lentz, a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, recently completed a year of service as a field education student at the church.

She helped lead worship, assisted with the confirmation class and started the breast cancer support group.

Lentz is working toward becoming a licensed lay minister in the Penn Northeast Conference.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will celebrate different cultures around the world on International Sunday, July 31.

Lesson readings may be from different languages, and desserts for Fellowship Hour will represent other lands.

Worship begins 9 a.m. with fellowship time following the service.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have Communion and Healing Services 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 7.

After worship, pastors will be available to listen to concerns and to offer prayers for healing.
