The Great Northern Senior Fair will be held 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 5 at Northampton Banquet & Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave., Northampton.

Admission is free.

Highlights of the day include flu shots by Weis Markets pharmacy, health screening by Walgreens and displays by more than 35 local senior-related businesses.

The event is hosted by Phillips Armstrong, Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners president; Edward D. Hozza Jr., Whitehall Township mayor; Thomas Reenock, Northampton Borough mayor; William Molchany Jr., North Catasauqua mayor; and Tom Muller, Lehigh County executive.
