LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Neon week at Jefferson

This week at Camp Jefferson was very hot and jam-packed with fun!

In order to keep cool, we played one or two outdoor games after free time, which included Elbow Tag, Relay Races, Kickball and Handball, just to name a few. The campers had a blast outside but definitely enjoyed coming indoors for a cool drink and more indoor fun.

Once the campers cooled off, they took part in indoor games, which ranged from Indian Chief to the always popular Silent Ball. Our daily afternoon pool time was also a great way for us to stay cool while soaking up the sun.

For this week’s field trip, Camp Jefferson traveled to Two T’s golf course. We had so much fun playing glow-in-the-dark mini golf while admiring the evolution-themed artwork surrounding us. After we finished golfing, we moved to the outdoor patio for some refreshing water ice and soft-serve ice cream to end our trip.

Our theme at camp this week was neon, so on Friday, all of the campers were encouraged to wear their favorite color. The campers were excited to create their own masterpieces on scratch art paper.

Our week ended with Campers of the Week, which were awarded to Mahalia and Kyle for their energy during games and their kindness to others.

We had a great week at Camp Jefferson, and we can’t wait for next week!
