To the Editor:

I would like to thank my friends and the residents of Northampton Borough for all the cards, gifts, letters and billboards congratulating me for my 30 years of service as borough manager and thanking me for all the growth, progress and improvements that were achieved during my 30-year watch.

I truly appreciate all the accolades; however, nothing would have been accomplished without the support and cooperation of Northampton Borough Council. I was very fortunate to have had great supervisors, who worked diligently in order to bring to completion all the projects and programs throughout the years. I was blessed with an excellent office staff, who gave me support day in and day out, in good times and in tough times.

I would also like to thank East Penn Publishing for bringing [Northampton Press] to our town, which we really needed.

The residents can look forward to a progressive future under the leadership of Mr. Leroy Brobst, the new borough manager of Northampton Borough.
