Night Out

Upper Macungie Police will be celebrating National Night Out from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 2 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane, Upper Macungie.

This free event will take place rain or shine.

The celebration of police and community partnership has a goal of crime prevention.

Food vendors including Masonic Saucon Lodge 469, Kona Water Ice and Trixie’s Treats cupcakes.

Amusement rides including Uproar, Tubs of Fun, the Trackless Train, moon bounce and inflatable obstacle course.

There will be live animals, a truck driving simulator, face painting and caricature artist Dale Gladstone.

In addition, there will be dunk a cop, fire and ambulance displays, live Jaws of Life and K-9 demonstrations, and child safety seat inspections.

All are invited to attend.
