Ziegels Union Church is sponsoring its 10th annual Mission Team Golf Outing Aug. 6 at the Allentown Municipal Golf Course beginning with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Raffle tickets are being sold, and the drawing will be at 2 p.m. Prizes include a zero turn lawn tractor, a quarter side of beef, half a pig, 40-inch flat screen TV, IPad, and a battery operated trimmer.

Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Company will be a part of the 4-County Firemen’s Parade 1 p.m. July 16 at Trexlertown Fire Company.
The parade will travel from Hamilton Boulevard and Weilers Road to Trexlertown Road and end at Church Lane.
Be sure to bring lawn chairs.
The parade will include four marching bands, Model A’s, antique tractors, floats and much more. There will be a brief ceremony after the parade at Valley Preferred Cycling Center.
The Woodland String Band Mummers will perform a 25-minute session in the center of the Velodrome.

Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, 22 Luckenbill Road, Kutztown, (adjacent to Kutztown University campus), has openings in its Heritage Camp.
The camp, for children ages 6 to 14, will run 9:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 25-29.
Classes include: wheat weaving, traditional crafts, embroidery, hearth cooking, broom making, spinning, hex sign art, scherenschnitte, basket making, pottery making, tinsmithing, and much more.
On July 29, there will be a dialect treasure hunt and family picnic.
