LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Jefferson travels to Planet Trog

Camp Jefferson was jam-packed with activities during week two!

In addition, it was an extra-exciting week as the Jefferson campers were joined by the Cementon campers. Each day started off with some free time. The campers socialized with their fellow campers, made up their own interesting games and participated in many intense rounds of Four Square.

The weather was never a problem - rain or shine, inside or outside - the campers found a way to have fun! The rainy game of Dodgeball was a memorable moment this week as the counselors joined in on the fun. The energy was at an all-time high!

The campers’ excitement and competitiveness certainly came out while playing Kickball, Capture the Flag, Fastest in the West and Silent Ball. Not only were the campers competitive, but they also showed great amounts of team spirit. Each camper cheered for one another, especially when learning new games like Seek and Find and Name That Tune.

Jefferson campers also demonstrated their goofy side during the field trip to Planet Trog! Each camper chose a laser tag code name. They ranged from Angry Gorilla and Thor to Special K and Kibble-and-Bits. The campers were thrilled to gear up in their vests and get into the course. Hiding behind the obstacles, storming the bases and gaining points for their team, the campers gave it all they had. Good thing they had pizza and arcade games to refuel their energy!

This week was America Week! Each camper dressed up in their best Fourth of July clothes to celebrate the holiday.

And at the end of the week, the counselors awarded two campers the Camper of the Week award. These campers participated in all the activities, treated their fellow campers respectfully and listened to the counselors when the whistle blew. Congratulations to Sebastian and Camila!
