The Emmaus High School Art Department recently announced achievements by students in the Regional Scholastic Arts awards competition.

EHS student artists entered 91 pieces into the Regional Scholastic Art Awards competition. Of the 91 pieces the students entered, 60 pieces earned awards including: 26 art pieces awarded “Honorable Mention,” 20 earning Silver Key Awards, 13 receiving Gold Key Awards and one piece nominated for the American Visions Award.

The Gold Key Award winners moved on to the national competition.

Students were recognized at an awards ceremony at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, Bethlehem.
