Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, is offering a Pre-zoo Animals A to Z Camp for children ages 4-5 9 a.m. to noon June 27 through July 1.

Campers, as they venture through the alphabet, will discover the funny names some animals have.

Wild Tracks Safari Camp for kids ages 9-11 will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 11-15.

Campers will learn how to find and identify different animal species while learning how to cast a footprint.

Each day both camps will be packed with fun-filled activities including animal encounters, crafts, interactive games, nature hikes and zoo tours.

Signature Zoo International Mud Day is June 25 and World Giraffe Day will be July 2.

Morgenland Union Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is having a summer picnic from 4-9 p.m. June 25 in the church grove located in Leather Corner Post, Orefield.

Rain date is 1-6 p.m. June 26.

Music will be provided by The Main Street Cruisers.

There will be good food, old-fashioned cakewalks, raffles and activities for the children.
