Jacob’s Church, Route 143, Jacksonville, is hosting Community Day (rain or shine) from 5-8:30 p.m. June 17.

There will be free activities, games, dunk tank, moon walk and a tractor show and car cruise.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Menu includes hot dogs, hamburgers, fresh cut fries, homemade ice cream, funnel cake and fried Oreo cookies.

Lynnport Fire Company, Behler Road, Lynnport, will host its annual Independence Day Jamboree June 25.

There will be fun, food and fireworks.

Fireworks will begin around 9 p.m.

Thunder in the Valley tractor pull will be at the Kempton Community Center June 16 and 17.

Thursday registration begins 4 p.m. with the pull starting 7 p.m. Friday’s registration opens at 3 p.m. with the pull starting 6:30 p.m.
