State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 34-year-old Germansville woman reported her vehicle was scratched and damaged on the driver side sometime between 3-4 p.m. May 24 at 7285 Lincoln Court, Lynn Township.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say John A. McCullough Jr., 58, of Reynoldsville, was driving a 2012 Volvo when it was struck in the rear by a 2013 HINO box truck driven by Gleidy D. Cruz Santana, 36, of Whitehall 5:36 a.m. May 24 on I-78, Weisenberg Township.

According to police, the Volvo was stopped or slowed due to bridge construction when the box truck’s front bumper and engine area hit the rear of the Volvo.

Cruz Santana, who was wearing his seatbelt, was transported by Cetronia Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was charged with following too closely, police say.

McCullogh, who was also wearing his seatbelt, was uninjured.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say they investigated an incident during which Teagen Thomas Golden, 18, of the 6800 block on Flint Hill Road, New Tripoli, drove off in an alleged reckless and disorderly manner 12:35 a.m. May 28 from 7118 Springhouse Road, Lynn Township.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Kimberli K. Joselove, 47, of Lawrenceville, Ga., was driving a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country when the minivan struck a deer 2:59 a.m. May 28 on I-78, Weisenberg Township.

According to police, the minivan was eastbound on I-78 when it struck the deer.

The minivan traveled approximately 0.1 mile before coming to a controlled rest on the right shoulder of the roadway.

The minivan was towed from the scene.

Joselove, who was wearing her seat belt, was uninjured, police say.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Luis A. Negron, 49, of Pottsville, was driving a 2008 Jeep Liberty 3:13 a.m. May 20 along Silver Creek Road, south of Bachelor Road, Weisenberg Township when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer.

The Jeep hit a bridge guide rail, before striking a tree.

Negron and his passenger Carlos M. Torres III, 24, of Bethlehem, were both wearing seat belts.

Both Negron and Torres sustained injuries, police say.
