EMMAUS

Emmaus’ annual Flag Day celebration will be held 6 p.m. June 14 at the Emmaus Community Park Arts Pavilion. The guest speaker is Emmaus High School Social Studies teacher John Gallagher. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and veterans will participate in the flag presentation.

The Emmaus Chorale will perform several patriotic songs and there will be a sing-along.

The highlight of the program is the fifth grade students reading their winning poems and the eighth graders reading their winning essays for the Flag Day contest.

The program is coordinated by the Emmaus Flag Day Association and the Flag Day program committee of the GFWC PA Woman’s Club of Emmaus. For more information, visit www.emmausflagday@aol.com.
