WALK/RUN

Several families from the Lehigh Valley who have been touched by cancer will participate in the Steps to Cure Sarcoma Annual 5K Run/1K Walk, 9 a.m. to noon June 12 at Wilson Farm Park, 500 Lee Road, Wayne.

Registration begins 8 a.m. and all donations go to the Abramson Cancer Center and will be used for Sarcoma Cancer research and treatment.

The center has a collaborative research network between the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine, the Penn Veterinary School and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The collective team across these sites are bringing their unique skills and research talents to help children, adults and dogs with sarcoma. All donations are tax deductible.

This family friendly event will include food, music, raffle prizes and an opportunity to meet Ewing sarcoma survivor and linebacker for the New York Giants Mark Herzlich.

Event will be held rain or shine.
