Alburtis Spring Fling and May Day Celebration was held at two different locations May 1.
The May Day Celebration and play took place in the Lockridge Furnace building in Lockridge Park.
Meanwhile, Spring Fling vendors set up in the Alburtis Area Community Center due to rain.
Francine Confer choreographed the May Day play and the performance featured the crowning of the Queen of May. The performers danced to the lovely sounds of Renaissance music, even though the roof was leaking because of the relentless rain. Some of the players were new this year and the event was enjoyable as ever.
