Edison S. Leonard, 83, of Salisbury Township, died May 18, 2016.

He and his wife Shirley J. (Ehrgott) celebrated their 62nd anniversary.

Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Klotz) Leonard.

An Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he earned the rank of private first class.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Wayde and wife, Kathy Alesick, of Bethlehem, Barton and wife, Robin, of Allentown, Cory of Allentown; daughters Kim Casey and husband, Joie, of Las Vegas Nev., April Ferraro and husband, Sal, of Ulster Park N.Y.; grandchildren Kim, Sheila, Joseph, Paul, Dyana, Joey, Heather, Nicole, Stephanie, Kyle, Shawn, Barton Jr.; eight great-grandchildren; and six siblings.

He was predeceased by a sister.
