Penn State Extension, 4184 Dorney Park Road, Allentown, will hold a “What’s Underground?: The Key to Long Term Urban Tree Survival” conference May 18 and 19.

This two-day conference will present information essential to the care of community trees and an opportunity to share ideas with foresters, arborists, shade tree commissions and others.

Conference speakers include: Nina Bassuk, Ph.D., Cornell Urban Horticulture Institute, Christopher Luley, Ph.D., vice president, Urban Forestry LLC., and Neil Hendrickson, Ph.D., NE technical representative, Bartlett Tree Research Lab.
