Stephen and Barbara (Chapo) Chanitz of Bethlehem celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 12.

The couple were married May 12, 1956, at the former St. John Capistrano Church, Bethlehem.

They are the parents of Gregory, Jacqueline, Stephen and Jeffrey (deceased).

They have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Both are retired, having worked for the City of Bethlehem.

A family celebration is planned to mark their anniversary milestone.
