The Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) has named Fellowship Community, Whitehall, to its Influenza Vaccination Honor Roll.

“Fellowship Community requires all employees and volunteers, including those not involved in direct patient care, to receive an influenza vaccination every year,” said Audrey Fernald, RN, BS, Fellowship Community Director of Infection Control-Education.

“We’re honored to be recognized by the IAC with Fellowship Community’s inclusion on the Influenza Vaccination Honor Roll, said Robert Zentz, President-CEO of Fellowship Community.

To be included in this honor roll, an organization must require influenza vaccination for employees and must include serious measures to prevent transmission of influenza from unvaccinated workers to patients.
