To the Editor:
As a kid, you are repeatedly asked what job you are considering while you are in school. With this question, you are required to think into your future and what you see yourself as; my decision is to be a CEO of a major business. Since I was little, I have always been fascinated with being in charge of a high profile company. My grandfather was a CFO of a corporation and he told me, “Being a CFO was the best and worst time of my life. I loved being in control of my workforce, it is a real confidence boost.”
CEO’s need to be able to be the boss; they need to be in control of the entire company. I believe I have the perfect qualities for the job.
Many people might say being a CEO would involve high amounts of stress. It may be true, but it depends on how you handle it. My grandfather said, “It can be a stressful job at times.” A stressful life would be filled with worry.
There is a great solution to this; you must stay organized. To be in control of your company, you need to have a strong personality, a good work ethic, understanding of your workforce and a guiding presence among your employees. As we have seen, being a CEO is a major commitment; I believe I have the skills and drive to be one.
