The show, now called “Not Just Broadway Night,” featured several different acts, ranging from ballet to a vocal performance of “Ave Maria.”
Julia Bezems and Joel Shimer, who both performed at all-state chorus and will continue onto nationals in the fall, performed a duet, with Shimer on the guitar. Nick Quinn and Cathy Ritter, the leads of the spring musical “Once Upon a Mattress,” also performed. Quinn sang “Tell Me On a Sunday,” while Ritter sang “Remedy,” a song by artist Adele. There will be one more “Not Just Broadway Night” before the end of the year.
